Silver and Dots

Hi Again!
I gave Kleancolor polishes a try and I was a little skeptical after my crackle polish experiment (link to post). The polish I used is called Pearl Silver and it is a beautiful shade with lots of shimmer and it is a million times better than the crackle polishes. I used two coats of that and then I just did some random black and white dots. Nothing special. I hope you like it! By the way, my nails have grown, and this design will work on either long or short nails.

Le dí una oportunidad a los esmaltes de Kleancolor y honestamente, estaba un poquito insegura después de haber hecho mi experimento con los esmaltes que se agrietan (enlace aquí para el experimento). El esmalte que usé hoy se llama Pearl Silver de Kleancolor y es un color muy bonito con mucho brillo y es un millón de veces mejor que el esmalte que se agrieta. Utilicé dos capas de éste y luego solo agregué unos puntos en blanco y negro. Nada especial, espero que les guste! Por cierto, mis uñas han crecido, pero aún asi, este diseño luce bien en uñas cortas o largas.

Sakura: Cherry Blossoms

This time I will show you my attempt to create a nice and feminine manicure featuring cherry blossoms. I personally love it, and although it is not perfect, I really liked how it came out.
En ésta ocasión les mostraré mi intento para crear un manicure lindo y femenino con flores de cerezo. Personalmente me gustó mucho, aunque se que no es perfecto, me agrada el resultado que obtuve.

1.Start with a coat of a shimmery color of your choice (Fire Fly by Jesse's Girl)
Empieza con una capa de esmalte brillante en el color de tu preferencia (Fire Fly de Jesse's Girl)

2.Add some green to 1/3 of your nail using a cosmetic sponge (Happy Ending by Sinful Colors)
Agrega verde a 1/3 de la uña usando una esponja de maquillaje (Happy Ending de Sinful Colors)

3. Draw branches with a dark burgundy/brown polish (Lincoln Center by NYC)
Dibuja ramas usando un color corinto o café (Lincoln Center de NYC)

4. Using your dotting tool and a white nail polish (White by Kleancolor) create 3-4 petaled flowers.
Con un punteador y usando un esmalte blanco (White de Kleancolor) haz flores de 3-4 pétalos.

5. Add dimension to the flowers by adding some pink and yellow in the middle (Expecting by Freshcover y Mellow Yellow by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear).
Dale dimensión a las flores con un poco de rosado y amarillo (Expecting de Freshcover y Mellow Yellow de Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear). 

6. Add a top coat.
Aplica un sellador de esmalte.

Orange and Black

Hola!

I had the urge to try my Wet n Wild nail polish in 9.0.2.1.Orange, which is a gorgeous microglittery orange. I also wanted to give it some edge and I believe that my mani came out looking a little Halloween-i but I am sure it will work with any color combo in either short or long nails.. For the black nail polish, I used Black Expressionism by Finger Paints. I hope you enjoy it and try it!
Tuve la necesidad de probar mi esmalte de Wet n Wild en el color 9.0.2.1.Orange, el cual es un anaranjado con miles de brillos pequeñitos. También quise agregarle un poco de dramatismo y creo que mi manicure termino siendo un poco relacionado a Halloween, pero igual funciona con cualquier color en uñas cortas o largas. Para el esmalte negro, utilicé Black Expressionism de Finger Paints. Espero les guste y lo intenten!

Cute Pastels

Today I tried sally Hansen's Lacey Lilac which is a beautiful lilac pastel. This is after 2 coats and I think it looks nice on short nails (will look gorgeous once my nails grow!)
Hoy probé Lacey Lilac de Sally Hansen el cual es un lila pastel muy bonito. Esto es después de dos capas y creo que queda muy bien en uñas cortas (se verá muy lindo una vez que mis uñas crezcan).

After that, I decided to take a crafty pair of scissors and painter's tape. 
Luego tomé un par de tijeras y cinta adhesiva.

Cut a piece of tape and place it over the nail in whichever direction you prefer. (I did it only on my thumb and ring finger). 
Corta un pedazo de cinta y colócalo sobre la uña en la dirección que prefieras.  (Yo lo hice únicamente en mi dedo gordo y el anular).

 

Apply black nail polish. I am using Wet n Wild's Black Créme. Take tape off.

Aplica esmalte negro, yo usé Black Créme de Wet n Wild. Retira la cinta adhesiva.

 

Add a top coat. The end.

Aplica un protector de esmalte. El fin.

Hello!
This is just a simple black mani with lots of glitter. It is ideal for either long or short nails.
Éste es solo un manicure negro con mucha brillantina. Queda muy bien en uñas cortas o largas.
Black: Black Créme by Wet n Wild
Glitter (Blue and Purple): Frenzy by Sinful Colors

Pearly Pink and Short Nails

Heyyyy!
I am back!
I apologize for having been gone, but there is nothing to worry about, I am back and ready to do more nail design. I must say that I filed my nails down all the way, so I am growing them again, and bear with me, it will take about 6 weeks.
I am posting this simple mani I did a few days ago, nothing special, just trying to love my short nails.

Una disculpa por mi ausencia, pero no hay nada por que preocuparse, regresé y estoy lista para seguir haciendo diseños para las uñas. Debo decir que me corté las uñas y estoy dejando que me crezcan nuevamente, lo cual tomará unas 6 semanas.
Les dejo este manicure muy sencillo que hice hace unos dias, nada especial, solo intento que me gusten las uñas cortas.
