Hello there!
For today's manicure I chose to do Dracula :)
I also submitted this manicure to Jordana Cosmetics Halloween Contest and I am crossing my fingers!
Alright, so now on to the polishes I used, the base is Sally Hansen Salon Complete in Lavender Cloud, the red and black are Jordana's Holiday Red and Black respectively.
I hope you like it!

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Mummy

Here are my mummies using the stamp from BM209 :) I think they look nothing but scared! I had fun doing them and I like how the bandages look.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Ghosts

Boo!
Here is my failed water marble and stamping combo. My water marble was not as bad, I used Wet n Wild 9021Orange and Buffy the Violet Slayer. Then I had the brilliant idea of stamping ghosts from BM which disappeared into the marble...  I guess it sort of works, my ghosts are semi-transparent. Better luck next time for me ;)

Wet n Wild Megalast 'Wet Cement'

Does anyone else here LOVE free nail polish?
Let me tell you that a few months ago, I checked out Wet n Wild's Facebook page and they do giveaways on certain days. I was the winner and they kindly sent me a free nail polish. I got Wet Cement and I think it's gorgeous. Funny story is that they previous day I had gone to my local CVS and I was SO close to purchasing it :)
My recommendation: Like WnW's page and keep your eyes open for their freebies!

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Spiders (Week 43: Spider Web Manicure)

I was sort of dreading this manicure; one, because I do not have a spider stamp and I am not that skilled with brushes and acrylic paints and two, I am not a fan of spiders. I took a chance and did a spider that kind of looks like a crab, haha, and I ventured on doing a spider web. My manicure did not come out too bad, I think; I used Club Havana by WnW Megalast as a base, I sponged some black polish on the tips. I did both the spider and web with black acrylic paint. Lastly, I added some odd colored glitter, a blue-green duochromish glitter - Sinful Colors in Pearl Harbor.

Week 42: "Pink 4 Breast Cancer Awareness" Manicure

Hey :)
As you may know, October is breast cancer awareness month. As women, one of our responsibilities is to get yearly breast check ups because prevention is key for cancer treatment. Here is my pink manicure:
I used two coats of Candylicious by WnW. I stamped the whole nail design from plate BM201 using Konad White. The heart is from SE18 using WnW Black Creme. Pin It

Revlon Colorstay 'Blue Slate' and Stamping

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest

I was going through some clearance baskets at Target and I found my favorite blue polish of all times: Revlon Colorstay Blue Slate. I can't begin to explain how beautiful the color is; so rich, opaque in one coat, creme finish, not too blue, not too gray. I am in love with this shade and take into account that I am the kind of girl that is insecure about wearing blue-ish nail polish. To compliment it, I added a full nail design from plate B65 using Maybelline Color Show Bold Gold (a suggestion from soguesswhat11) which I am loving as well. Here are some pictures:

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Bats

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest
It had been a long time since I had done a French tip manicure. I started with Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Pink Promise and I did my tips free-handed using WnW Black Creme. I then stamped the little bats from plate BM213 using WnW Black Creme.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Tombstones

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest

I was going to give this manicure a second try because I was not completely satisfied with the way it came out. I challenged myself to do the letters with my non-dominant hand; I guess it was okay. I started with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pewter and I sponged some white over it. I used acrylic paint to do the letters and I added a matte top coat. The glitter in the middle fingernail is Kleancolor Bridal Shower.

Week 41: Patchwork Manicure

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest
I liked this manicure in person a lot better. I tried to do a patchwork mani like Chloe's Nails does (tutorial here) and it turned out bleh. I hope that one day I can do a better job at this kind of manicure. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Blue By! then I added Revlon Whimsical as the second wedge and the black is Finger Paints Black Expressionism.

Please, Vote for Me!

Hola :)
As many of you know, Bundle Monster is having a Halloween nail contest on Facebook. I submitted my entry and from today to Oct. 19 you can submit your vote for your favorite manicure. The picture I submitted is not the best, but my camera and my lighting were not cooperating. I would really appreciate it if you would vote for me!
Me regalas tu voto?

CG 'Flying Dragon' and SC 'Frenzy'

Hello there,
This is a simple post where I was trying to bring out the blue shimmer in CG's Flying Dragon. I love this polish and it looks amazing in the bottle; once it's applied the blue shimmer just disappears. That's why I added a generous coat of Sinful Colors Frenzy, which is a purple and blue glitter. To go with the flow of Flying Dragon drying matter, I topped my manicure with NYC Matte me Crazy.

Carol

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Candy Corn

I have to make one confession; I am not a fan of candy corn. I do not know why; the texture, the taste... It is just not my cup of tea. However, I love the bright colors in it. I was inspired to do a watermable - oh, yeah, I suck at watermarbles!. It was sort of a failed attempt and it was really gloomy outside when I tried to take the pictures... Here is my best attempt:

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Spiderweb

I don't have a spiderweb stamp and I wasn't going to kill myself with some free handed webs... Haha, I started looking at my stamping plates and I saw BM216, it is a tip stamp, but I used it upside down and I love the outcome. I started with Santee Perfect Silver and I sponged some Kleancolor White to make it look dusty. I added a layer of WnW Hallucination and stamped with WnW Black Creme.
