Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Slime!

I am sorry I am late with this post... I have been under a lot of stress and almost sleepless nights because I had a lab practicum today and I was really studying my heart off. Test is over, so here is my take on slime nails. I started with a base coat and then with some green and white paint I got a minty color which I used to make drippings with. I topped the slime with NYC's Starry Silver Glitter.
I hope you had a spooky Halloween! I am glad this challenge is over and I did it :) Thank you girls for sharing your manis and coming to my page to see mine!<3 i="i">

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Dracula

Hello there!
For today's manicure I chose to do Dracula :)
I also submitted this manicure to Jordana Cosmetics Halloween Contest and I am crossing my fingers!
Alright, so now on to the polishes I used, the base is Sally Hansen Salon Complete in Lavender Cloud, the red and black are Jordana's Holiday Red and Black respectively.
I hope you like it!

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Mummy

Here are my mummies using the stamp from BM209 :) I think they look nothing but scared! I had fun doing them and I like how the bandages look.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Ghosts

Boo!
Here is my failed water marble and stamping combo. My water marble was not as bad, I used Wet n Wild 9021Orange and Buffy the Violet Slayer. Then I had the brilliant idea of stamping ghosts from BM which disappeared into the marble...  I guess it sort of works, my ghosts are semi-transparent. Better luck next time for me ;)

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Spiders (Week 43: Spider Web Manicure)

I was sort of dreading this manicure; one, because I do not have a spider stamp and I am not that skilled with brushes and acrylic paints and two, I am not a fan of spiders. I took a chance and did a spider that kind of looks like a crab, haha, and I ventured on doing a spider web. My manicure did not come out too bad, I think; I used Club Havana by WnW Megalast as a base, I sponged some black polish on the tips. I did both the spider and web with black acrylic paint. Lastly, I added some odd colored glitter, a blue-green duochromish glitter - Sinful Colors in Pearl Harbor.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Bats

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest
It had been a long time since I had done a French tip manicure. I started with Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Pink Promise and I did my tips free-handed using WnW Black Creme. I then stamped the little bats from plate BM213 using WnW Black Creme.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Tombstones

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest

I was going to give this manicure a second try because I was not completely satisfied with the way it came out. I challenged myself to do the letters with my non-dominant hand; I guess it was okay. I started with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pewter and I sponged some white over it. I used acrylic paint to do the letters and I added a matte top coat. The glitter in the middle fingernail is Kleancolor Bridal Shower.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Candy Corn

I have to make one confession; I am not a fan of candy corn. I do not know why; the texture, the taste... It is just not my cup of tea. However, I love the bright colors in it. I was inspired to do a watermable - oh, yeah, I suck at watermarbles!. It was sort of a failed attempt and it was really gloomy outside when I tried to take the pictures... Here is my best attempt:

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Spiderweb

I don't have a spiderweb stamp and I wasn't going to kill myself with some free handed webs... Haha, I started looking at my stamping plates and I saw BM216, it is a tip stamp, but I used it upside down and I love the outcome. I started with Santee Perfect Silver and I sponged some Kleancolor White to make it look dusty. I added a layer of WnW Hallucination and stamped with WnW Black Creme.

Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Blood

I have seen many bloggers doing a blood dripping nail design, but I had never had the chance to try it. I did the blood splattering design for today. I used a straw dipped in polish and blowing on it. It was not as messy as I thought it would be. I got many compliments for these nails and people were asking me if I had paid to get them done. The only thing that came to mind was "Good job, Carol" :)
I used Wet n Wild Sugar Coat as a background and Freshcover 369 for the splatter.
