Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Tombstones

Remember you can still vote for me for the Bundle Monster Halloween Contest

I was going to give this manicure a second try because I was not completely satisfied with the way it came out. I challenged myself to do the letters with my non-dominant hand; I guess it was okay. I started with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pewter and I sponged some white over it. I used acrylic paint to do the letters and I added a matte top coat. The glitter in the middle fingernail is Kleancolor Bridal Shower.

Week 37: "We Remember" Manicure

I know that 9/11 is a very tragic memory for many in the US and around the world. I did not want to do a manicure portraying what happened because there is no way I could have honored the innocent victims of such date with my nails. I am sorry, that's why I am posting this.
I remember that in 2001, I did not like red polish. In fact, I hated nail polish because my application and finish was too messy. Yeah, I was really young and careless about my nails. So today I have an improved picture of the manicure I wish I could have 11 years ago.
I used Sation Class Flirt with plate B65 using Konad White and acrylic paint for the dots.

Week 15: Easter Manicure

Happy Easter!
I hope you guys are enjoying your Easter Sunday. For this manicure, I was not sure if I wanted to do bunnies or little chicks. I could have sworn I had a stamp plate that had a chick, but I did not. I did a bunny instead, I am pleased to say I love it!
As a base I used 2 coats of a pink jelly polish by Freshcover (the label fell off) and a coat of Forget Now by Sinful Colors. The flowers and bunny were done with acrylic paint and a dotting tool.
I hope you enjoy!

Carol

Stripes and Dots

Hello :)
This is a manicure I did for a YouTube V-Day Collaboration. RobinMoses and ProfessionalDQ came up with this idea and JaeMarie2008 invited me to join. I figured I would do something extremely simple because many times we do not have the time to do an extremely fancy V-day manicure.  I used Flower Pink by Santee as a base, for the stripes a white striper and for the dots acrylic white paint.
Here is the video:

Week 3: Color Block Mani

For Week 3, I was a little unsure on how to take on color blocking. I took my favorite bright pink, a bright purple and yellow acrylic paint. I know, I know, it is simple, but it is bright and quite odd for me. The colors I used are: Flower Pink by Santee, Wild Thing by Jesse's Girl and Bright Yellow by Craft Smart. I have no idea why my purple is showing up differently, I was so stressed out because I could not get the right colors for the picture...

    Week 2: French Tip Mani

    Hello!
For week 2 of this challenge, I kept it really simple and classic. I did not go crazy with colors because a memory came to mind about french tips. I was about 14 years old and my cousin who was 20 (or 21) took me to a nail salon. That was my first time ever and I got a french mani. I had stubbies back then and it sucked because I could not grow pretty nails... I had brittle and plain ugly nails. I went back memory lane 9 years and now, I have the nails I thought I could never have. I am really happy and I am glad I could bring that memory and say that now I love my nails and that I did them myself :)
    I used:
    • Glass Pink by Sinful Colors
    • White by Kleancolor
    • Silver Glitter and White Stripers
    • Black (acrylic paint) by Craft Smart
Make sure to check out Jenna's blog and the other ladies doing this challenge :)

Sinful Colors 'Easy Going' + Nail Art

    Hello!
I wore this manicure for a couple of days and I really loved the simplicity of it. I started with 2 coats of Easy Going by Sinful Colors. Then, I drew some simple flowers using Flower Pink by Santee. I added dots as you see, using my dotting tool and Glorious Gold by Americana (acrylic paint).
    I hope you try it.

    Nails for Autumn - Fall

    Hello :)
Today I am bringing a fall/autumn manicure that I saw on Raquel's channel. The link to her YouTube channel is here, she is awesome with free-handed nail art. As a base polish I used Love is Battle by Freshcover and to do the flowers I used a Glorious Gold by Americana (acrylic paint). I added rhinestones as well. I was truly happy with the end result.

    My New Stuff

    Hello there!
Today I went to different local stores and I bought some nail polishes as well as supplies for nail art. The prices may vary according to the region, but you will get the general idea. I hope you enjoy.
    Hola!

My first stop was a local beauty/nail supply store and I bought 3 KleanColor polishes for $1 each.
    1. Top of the World by KleanColor - Shimmery gold
    2. Bridal Shower by KleanColor - Micro-, round- and hex-glitters in silver/holo
    3. Catch Me by KleanColor - Pastel turquoise

Then, at CVS Pharmacy I only paid $0.67 for these 2 WnW polishes because I had a coupon.
    1. Blazed - WnW Wild Shine
    2. Teal of Fortune - WnW fastdry

My last stop was Michael's. I had been there last week and I had a 40% off coupon I had to use :) I was looking for microbeads and chunky glitters and I found them! The microbeads were $6.50-ish and the glitters were $4.00. I also bought a gold acrylic paint that retailed for $1.00 or so. I had a coupon so I saved a good deal of cash.
