Just a quick post!I love this shade from Freshcover, it is #265 and I love the shimmer and earth/plum tones in it! I just added some diagonals using gold glitter and silver rhinestones. I hope you are having a good week. I am ready to crash on my bed...

Week 7: "Valentine's Day" Manicure

It's been a long time!!!
I feel like I haven't posted in ages... This is the manicure I wore for Valentine's Day. I know it is not the best and it is nothing close to what I wanted, but I am adjusting to a new schedule and stuff... I will update you on that. So, I started with 2 coats of 369 by Freshcover, my favorite red ever. This polish is special because it was the shade that made me fall in love with reds :) The stamping was done with SE21 and m19. I used an old Sally Hansen polish in the color White Tip. I decided to give White Tip a chance because it got thick and old, as I said, it is not a perfect mani, but I was okay with the result. Sorry for the rushed post, I promise not to abandon you ladies. I hope you had a great V-Day, much love to all of you!

Siento que han sido siglos sin haber publicado algo... Éste es el manicure que usé para el día de San Valentín. Estoy consciente que no es el mejor y que tampoco está nada cerca de lo que deseaba, pero me estoy ajustando a un nuevo horario y a otras cosas... Les traeré una entrada acerca de eso próximamente. Empecé con 2 capas del color 369 de Freschover, mi rojo favorito. Éste esmalte es especial para mi porque fue el que me hizo enamorarme de los rojos. El estampado lo hice con los platillos SE21 y m19. Usé el esmalte blanco de Sally Hansen llamado White Tip. Lo usé porque es un esmalte viejo que ya se puso espeso y pues me convenció como quedó. Perdón por la publicación tan apresurada, prometo no abandonarlas. Espero hayan tenido un lindo día de San Valentín, mucho amor para todas!

Pink and Flowers (Plate m02)

Hello my dear readers!
What I am showing you today is a nail design I AM IN LOVE WITH! I love pink, flowers, shimmer, and I miss spring time. Also, this was my first time trying out BornPrettyStore nail plates. If you read THIS POST you know that I received a prize from one of Marta's giveaways (ChitChatNails.com). I am so happy with the quality and the design variety, I just jumped in with one coat of Freshcover 851, one coat of Sinful Colors Forget Now. Then I stamped with plate m02 using Konad White polish... I love this manicure, I think pink is my color :)

Candy Canes and Holly Nail Design

Hola!
This is my first festive and holiday related manicure. I remember when I was not into nail art, I attempted some candy cane design and I failed miserably. This year is different because now, I feel a passion for nails. Let me tell you that I LOVE peppermint candy canes, it is my favorite candy. Here is what I accomplished this time to get into the whole Christmas celebration this year.

For this manicure, I used the following polishes:-For candy cane nails:
     *Freshcover #369
     *Kiss Nail Art Polish White
-For holly nails:
     *Freshcover #369 (for berries and tips)
     *Kiss Nail Art Polish White (for outlining tip)
     *Sinful Colors Happy Ending (for leaves)
     * Jesse's Girl Firefly (background)

It took me about 20 minutes to get this done and I just love how it came out. Here are some more shots:

Rainbow Animal Print

Hola!

These are pictures of one of my favorite manicures: rainbow + zebra print = perfection! I cannot stress enough how in love I am with my mani right now. It is also one of my mom's favorites. Nails for Autumn - Fall

Hello :)
Today I am bringing a fall/autumn manicure that I saw on Raquel's channel. The link to her YouTube channel is here, she is awesome with free-handed nail art. As a base polish I used Love is Battle by Freshcover and to do the flowers I used a Glorious Gold by Americana (acrylic paint). I added rhinestones as well. I was truly happy with the end result.
Hoy les traigo un manicure de otoño que ví en en canal de Raquel. El enlace a su canal de YouTube está aquí, ella es simplemente maravillosa haciendo detalles para las uñas. Yo utilicé Love is Battle de Freshcover como base y para las flores usé Glorious Gold de Americana (pintura acrílica). Agregué piedritas también y el resultado me gustó mucho.

Fancy Red and Crackle

For this manicure, I wanted to use red, so I chose a ruby red color, Love is Battle by Freshcover. I could not leave it simple so I added White Crack by Nabi on the side. Of course, I blinged it up by defining the edge between the crackle and the red with a silver stripe as well as rhinestones on my ring and thumb nails.
Para éste manicure, quise usar un esmalte rojo y escogí un color rubí, Love is Battle de Freshcover. No lo quise dejar simple y agregué White Crack de Nabi por un lado. Claro, lo tuve que decorar y definí el borde entre el esmalte rojo y el crackelado con una línea plateada y también con piedritas en las uñas de los dedos anular y pulgar.

Dark and Chic

Hey!
Long ago, I started watching nail tutorials on YT but I never did any of them because my nails were so brittle and ugly that I could not do anything. I came across the channel Love4Nails by Raquel and she is just AMAZING! I remember that she would do some cute and different french tip manicures and this one I did is sort of reminiscent of her awesomeness. I hope you like my attempt to be cool :P
Hace tiempo, empecé a ver videos de manicures en YT pero nunca intenté nada porque mis uñas eran tan frágiles y feas que no podia hacer nada con ellas. Una vez, me crucé con el canal de Raquel; Love4Nails y ella es MARAVILLOSA! Recuerdo que ella tiene tutoriales de manicure franceses poco comunes y éste que muesto aquí está inspirado en uno que ella hizo. Espero les guste mi intento de hacer algo cool :P

Sakura: Cherry Blossoms

This time I will show you my attempt to create a nice and feminine manicure featuring cherry blossoms. I personally love it, and although it is not perfect, I really liked how it came out.
En ésta ocasión les mostraré mi intento para crear un manicure lindo y femenino con flores de cerezo. Personalmente me gustó mucho, aunque se que no es perfecto, me agrada el resultado que obtuve.

1.Start with a coat of a shimmery color of your choice (Fire Fly by Jesse's Girl)
Empieza con una capa de esmalte brillante en el color de tu preferencia (Fire Fly de Jesse's Girl)

2.Add some green to 1/3 of your nail using a cosmetic sponge (Happy Ending by Sinful Colors)
Agrega verde a 1/3 de la uña usando una esponja de maquillaje (Happy Ending de Sinful Colors)

3. Draw branches with a dark burgundy/brown polish (Lincoln Center by NYC)
Dibuja ramas usando un color corinto o café (Lincoln Center de NYC)

4. Using your dotting tool and a white nail polish (White by Kleancolor) create 3-4 petaled flowers.
Con un punteador y usando un esmalte blanco (White de Kleancolor) haz flores de 3-4 pétalos.

5. Add dimension to the flowers by adding some pink and yellow in the middle (Expecting by Freshcover y Mellow Yellow by Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear).
Dale dimensión a las flores con un poco de rosado y amarillo (Expecting de Freshcover y Mellow Yellow de Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear). 

6. Add a top coat.
Aplica un sellador de esmalte.

I Love Pink

I will share with you this short lived manicure. I had to change it 1 day after doing it because I needed one with more decent colors... But here you go!
Les compartiré este manicure que duró muy poco. Lo tuve que cambiar al siguiente dia de hacerlo porque necesitaba uno con colores más decentes. Aquí se los dejo!

• Nude Pearl by Nabi
• Expecting by Freshcover
• PA12 Black by Kiss Brush On Nail Art

1. Apply 2 coats of a light/pearly pink (Nude Pearl).
Aplica 2 capas de un rosado pálido aperlado (Nude Pearl).

2. Apply 2 coats of hot pink (Expecting) diagonally covering just 1/2 of the nail.
Con 2 capas de rosado fuerte (Expecting) traza una línea diagonal y solo cubre la mitad de la uña.

3. Define the division of pinks with a black line and make black dots if you wish.
Define la división de los rosados con una línea y agrega puntos negros si lo deseas.

4. Voila!

Red is Sexy

Buongiorno!

Today I had to do my nails because I was getting tired of my butterfly wing manicure. I did not come up with any design because in a long time, I had not painted my nails red. I love them! I hope you enjoy.
Hoy tuve que pintar mis uñas porque me estaba cansando del manicure de alas de mariposa. No hice un diseño porque desde hace mucho tiempo no pintaba mis uñas rojas. Yo las adoro! Disfruten.

I used 2 coats of Freshcover's Camillia over a base coat.
Usé 2 capas del color Camillia de Freshcover sobre una base.

I added a top coat.
Agregué un protector de esmalte.

Hello Kitty Nails

• Psychedelic by LA Girls Disco Brites
• Black by Kiss Brush On Nail Art
• Acrylic Strong Top Coat by Nailene

1. Start with 2 coats of white nail polish.
Inicia con 2 capas de esmalte blanco.

  
2. With a red nail polish  draw a slanted bow on one side of your nail.
Con un esmalte rojo, dibuja un moñito en uno de los lados de la uña.

3. Draw a tiny oval in yellow. Make sure it's not too big or too close to the bow.
Con amarillo, dibuja un óvalo pequeño. Asegúrate que no sea tan grande o tan cerca del moñito.

4.  With black nail polish, draw the eyes and whiskers.
Dibuja los ojos y bigotes con esmalte negro.

5. Add a top coat. The end!
Optional: Add a small french in yellow if you have the space.
Aplica protector. Listo!
Opcional: Agrega un francés amarillo si tienes el espacio.
