Summery Water Marble / Marmoleado en Agua Veraniego

Happy first day of summer!
I hope you are enjoying the extra sunlight, I sure am since it is 7pm and it is still bright and sunny :) I am really excited about this manicure, it was my official first attempt to do a water marbling design. I used bottled water and a plastic cup. I began with a coat of white nail polish and then I alternated between the following Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes: Lightening, Pepto Pink and Lickety-Split Lime. I was really happy with the result.

During the weekend I was contacted by Mercedes from beyondbeautylounge.com notifying me that I had come out as the winner of her PearlMountain Image Converter. I can watermark pictures in batches now, it's amazing! Do you like the new watermark?

  2. Hi Carol, I went and read all your back post. You do truly amazing nail art, much deserved blog awards. Question though, what's your remedy when your cuticles get funky? and your daily cuticle care?

    1. Cina! Thank you so much for spending your time on my blog, I really appreciate that! About cuticle care: I don't have a terrible problem with cuticles, but when I want to get rid of all the dead skin and the small cuticles I get, I highly recommend Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover Max Strength. Use it as directed. I do that every one or two weeks. For everyday care, I just use the cuticle oil they sell at Sally Beauty Supply. I apply that 2-4 times a day and I really love it. Besides it is about $3 and it smells nice. It also helps to hydrate your hands with pretty much any lotion. I hope that helps!
