Week 13: Ruffian Manicure

I had not posted this manicure because my nails and cuticles are in bad shape. I had to file my nails to what I consider short and my cuticles had never been this bad. In my lab course, we are doing animal dissections and the formaldehyde and phenol solutions have greatly dried my skin... Yes, of course I wear gloves, but still... It is not pretty.
I apologize for this manicure... I do not think it complements my nails I have super roundish cuticles and my nails are squared. Anyway, Spring Break is coming soon! Yeah! I just have to get over a lump of midterms :)

Nude and Butterflies

This is a simple manicure, I achieved it by using Mocha by Kleancolor as a base. Then, I used the butterfly from plate SE18 and stamped twice on 2 of my nails with WnW Black Creme and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep.

Este es un manicure sencillo que logré utilizando Mocha de Kleancolor como base. Luego, utilicé la mariposa del platillo SE18 y la coloqué dos veces en dos de mis uñas con los esmaltes Black Creme y Silver Sweep de WnW y Sally Hansen respectivamente.

Pink and Silver Zebra Print

Hola :)
For today's mani I wanted to have fun with one of my all time favorite stamps: zebra print. For the base I used Wild Thing by Jesse's Girl, a vibrant berry/dark fuchsia which dries matte and I stamped using BM-223 with Silver Sweep by Sally Hansen.

Do you have a favorite stamp/print?

Para las uñas de hoy, quise darle un toque especial a uno de mis sellos/estampados favoritos: estampado de cebra. Para la base utilicé el esmalte Wild Thing de Jesse's Girl, un fucsia oscuro vibrante que seca mate. Usé el platillo BM-223 y el esmalte Silver Sweep de Sally Hansen.

Week 12: Skittle Manicure

Hello!
When I think of a skittle mani, I think of candy. I am not a big fan of Skittles, but I attempted to replicate the colors on my nails. For the stamp, I used a lollipop from plate m37. I hope you enjoy!
Cuando pensé en éste manicure, pensé en los dulces que llevan ese nombre. No soy fanática de los Skittles, pero en esta ocasión quise utilizar los mismos colores en mis uñas. Para el detalle, usé la paleta que está en la plaquita m37. Espero lo disfruten.

Orange Blossoms: Glitter and Stamping

Hello :)
This is a quick post, again. I really loved this manicure, I started with 2 coats of Baby Orange by Nabi and 1 coat of 9021Orange by Wet n Wild. If you see little blue/green specks it's because I added a coat of Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor glitter to give it dimension. The flowers are from plate SE19 and I stamped with the polishes Black Creme from Wet n Wild and Konad White.
Ésta es una entrada breve, otra vez. Me gustó mucho este diseño, empecé con 2 capas de Baby Orange de la marca Nabi y después una capa de 9021Orange de Wet n Wild. Si logras ver brillos verdes/azules es porque apliqué también una capa de la brillantina Pearl Harbor de Sinful Colors. Las flores son del platillo SE19 y estampé con los esmaltes Black Creme de WnW y Konad White.

Week 11: St. Patrick's Day Manicure

Hello!
This is a very easy St. Patrick's Day manicure. I wish I had done something more special, but I don't have much time nowadays... On to the mani, I started with a coat of Finger Paints 'Black Expressionism' and on top, I layered with 2 coats of WnW 'Teal of Fortune'. I loved how it looked black in the shade, and with good lighting it was a beautiful green. I then stamped using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in 'Silver Sweep' with the shamrock from plate m71.
How do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
Éste manicure del día de San Patricio es demasiado fácil. Me hubiese gustado hacer algo más especial, pero ahora ya no cuento con tanto tiempo. Empecé con una capa de 'Black Expressionism' de la marca Finger Paints y encima apliqué 2 capas de WnW 'Teal of Fortune'. En la sombra se veía negro y con buena luz, refleja un verde muy lindo. Para el trébol use la plaquita m71 con el esmalte 'Silver Sweep' de Sally Hansen.

I Need a Refresh-Mint + Stamping

Hello :)
This is a manicure I wore a few days ago. I got I Need a Refreshmint from WnW Megalast line because I had a $2.00 coupon for CVS and it was the last one on the shelf. I had been looking for it, but I could not find it. I am not sure, but rumor has it that it is a dupe for CG For Audrey. Anyway, I love this shade! I stamped using plate BM224 using WnW Black Creme. The stamping is not perfect, I know...
Random fact of the day: This week I had a quiz, a lab practical and a midterm exam. I did not sleep well until last night I believe... I am just glad I did very well on all three :)
Hola! Este manicure lo tuve hace un par de días; compré I Need a Refresh-Mint de la línea Megalast de WnW porque tenía un cupón de $2.00 para CVS y era el último en el estante. Lo había buscado con aterioridad, pero no lo encontraba ya que el rumor es que es el clon de For Audrey de CG. Bueno, me gustó mucho éste tono. Estampé con el platillo BM224 usando WnW Black Creme. Lo sé, el estampado no es perfecto...
Curiosidad del día: Ésta semana tuve un quiz, examen de laboratorio y un examen. No dormí bien hasta anoche... Estoy demasiado contenta porque me fue super bien en los tres :)
