Wet n Wild Megalast 'Disturbia' and CoverGirl 'Goddess'

This is a quick mani showing you one of the Megalast polishes from Wet n Wild. Disturbia is a deep purple/plum with a beautiful shimmer in it, it is almost unnoticeable. I am also showing a holo glitter by CoverGirl called 'Goddess' which I bought at Target for $1.40! I love that holo! I can honestly say that I just love those 2 either together or on their own :)

'Lacey Lilac' + BM209 + m72

Hello again!
On to another pastel manicure... For this one I started with 2 coats of Lacey Lilac by Sally Hansen. The silver stamping was done with plate BM209 and Silver Sweep by Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. I thought it looked like a chain link fence and I added some hibiscus flowers from plate m72 and stamped with Konad White. Although I like the idea, I think the white and silver sort of muddled... It looked better in the sun. Does this count as a nail fail???
Ahora con otro manicure en color pastel... Para este empecé con 2 capas de Lacey Lilac de Sally Hansen. El estampado en plateado es del platillo BM209 usando el esmalte Sally Hansen Insta-Dri en el color Silver Sweep. Para mí, parecia una valla/cerca y entonces agregué unas flores de hibisco del platillo m72 con el esmalte Konad White. A pesar que me gustó la idea, creo que el blanco y plateado se confundieron mucho... Se veía mejor en el sol. Cuenta esto como un manicure fallido???

Flowers: Purple and Silver

This nail tutorial is my contest entry to Nailsbyyou, a channel on YouTube. I will leave the step by step tutorial so you can attempt it.
Éste tutorial de uñas es mi entrada al concurso de Nailsbyyou, un canal en YouTube. Dejaré aquí el paso a paso para que ustedes lo intenten.

Start with 2 coats of a lavender polish. I used Finger Paints in Lavender Highlight.
Empieza con 2 capas de un esmalte lavanda. Usé Lavender Highlight de Finger Paints.

Add some sheen using a sheer purple polish. In my case it is Wild Card by Wet n Wild.
Agrega brillo con un esmalte morado no cubriente. En mi caso es Wild Card de Wet n Wild.

Using a dotting tool and a silver polish (Kleancolor's Pearly Silver), draw a flower.
Con un puntero y usando un color plateado (Pearly Silver de Kleancolor) dibuja una flor.

Dot black polish to make the center of your flower.
Coloca un puntito negro en el centro de tu flor.

Draw some loops with silver and fill in gaps with black dots. Add a top coat.
Dibuja espirales con plateado y llena espacios con puntitos negros. Aplica un protector.

Cute Pastels

Today I tried sally Hansen's Lacey Lilac which is a beautiful lilac pastel. This is after 2 coats and I think it looks nice on short nails (will look gorgeous once my nails grow!)
Hoy probé Lacey Lilac de Sally Hansen el cual es un lila pastel muy bonito. Esto es después de dos capas y creo que queda muy bien en uñas cortas (se verá muy lindo una vez que mis uñas crezcan).

After that, I decided to take a crafty pair of scissors and painter's tape. 
Luego tomé un par de tijeras y cinta adhesiva.

Cut a piece of tape and place it over the nail in whichever direction you prefer. (I did it only on my thumb and ring finger). 
Corta un pedazo de cinta y colócalo sobre la uña en la dirección que prefieras.  (Yo lo hice únicamente en mi dedo gordo y el anular).

 

Apply black nail polish. I am using Wet n Wild's Black Créme. Take tape off.

Aplica esmalte negro, yo usé Black Créme de Wet n Wild. Retira la cinta adhesiva.

 

Add a top coat. The end.

Aplica un protector de esmalte. El fin.

Crazy Purple Dots

This manicure started as a purple french I had in mind, I did not like it and I ended up with purple dots. Enjoy!
Éste manicure inició como un francés morado que se me ocurrió, pero no me gustó y terminé con puntos morados. Disfrútenlo!

• New Lavander by Nabi
• Buffy The Violet Slayer by Wet n Wild

1. Apply 2 coats of a lilac polish (New Lavender).
Aplica 2 capas de un esmalte lila (New Lavender).

2. Add dots with a darker color (Buffy the Violet Slayer).
Agrega puntos con un color más oscuro (Buffy the Violet Slayer).
